It was the frustration with third party payers and insurance company delays and denials that lead to the creation of NewDental. In other cases, even though patients were approved for treatments by their insurance, their out of pocket costs were so high that treatment was postponed until finances improved. Although clients and their employees were paying high monthly premiums for dental coverage they were still left to pay for a significant portion of their treatment from their own pockets.
